PreLook is a professional hair previsualisation app. From a photo of the client and a reference image, the professional displays the project on the real face in under a minute — then decides together with her, before the first cut.

In brief
What PreLook is
A professional tool
Built for hair salons and barbershops, not for the general public. The client watches the screen; she installs nothing and handles nothing.
On the real face
The preview is applied to a photo of the client herself, not to a model or a generic head.
Any reference
A photo the client brings in, a reference found online, or a sketch drawn by hand by the professional.
Under a minute
25 to 45 seconds depending on how complex the project is. The appointment is not made longer.
Expertise stays central
PreLook replaces neither the diagnosis nor the professional's hand. It makes visible, before the cut, what the professional already had in mind.
A history the client owns
The Hair Passport exports to PDF and shares by QR code. It follows the client, including when she changes salon.
How it works
In three steps
The photo
The professional photographs the client on the spot, or uses an existing picture.
The reference
A hairstyle to work from, or a hand-drawn sketch. No closed catalogue of styles.
The preview
The result appears during the consultation. Compare, discard, adjust, decide.
Visual proof
Real previews
Every image on the right was produced by the app, from the photo on the left and a reference brought to the consultation. They are cleared for press use, with credit to PreLook.

Client · fine hair
From long to pixie
The cutting line and the way the face is framed become readable before the first snip.

Client · barber, three-quarter view
Cut and beard
Length, fade and beard line previewed in one move. The photo does not need to be taken head-on.

Client · afro-textured hair
Moving to braids
A long, non-refundable service. The agreement happens before the first row, not after six hours of braiding.

The founder
Adama Cissoko
Founder of PreLook
PreLook came out of a personal problem. Adama Cissoko has afro-textured hair: changing his cut was never simply a question of style. The risk of breakage is real, a mistake costs months of regrowth, and no reference photo tells you what a transformation will do to your own hair. He wanted to know before deciding, not after.
He worked across several environments, mainly in banking, where he built his software engineering skills. Those skills are what allowed him to design and develop PreLook single-handed: interface, previsualisation engine and infrastructure. The subject fascinated him long before he turned it into a product.
Recommending a cut is advice. Showing it on the client is a decision.Adama Cissoko, founder of PreLook

The app demos in three minutes on iPad: a photo taken on the spot, a reference chosen, the result straight after. By appointment, in Paris or over video.
Previews are indicative. The actual result may vary depending on the hair itself, the techniques used and the service performed.
